The Castle Upton Gallery specialises in contemporary Irish art - both in paintings and sculpture. The paintings are united by their strong appreciation of colour; whilst the sculpture is both figurative and zoological, including large pieces designed for the garden or open spaces.
It is the gallery's intention to have a spread of both known and relatively unknown artists as well as a wide range of prices, so that there is always art available for connoisseurs of all types. We run two prestigious shows a year in Spring and Autumn, in the Ballroom Gallery. The remaining time the collection is housed in the Refectory Gallery situated to the rear of Castle Upton.
